Welcome

No Burning in Timber Lakes/ Timber Ridge

The Timber Lakes Volunteer Fire Department was established in 1969 and provides fire, rescue, and medical first response for the Timber Lakes / Timber Ridge community as well as other residential and commercial properties within the South Montgomery County TX area. The Department is 100% VOLUNTEER and is staffed by residents and business owners, who are dedicated to helping others and serving the community in times of need.

Several of our members have advanced their training to become career Fire fighters, Emergency Medical Technicians and Emergency Dispatchers, while remaining committed to serving as a dedicated volunteer fire fighter.

Members meet for weekly training on Monday nights at 7pm, and anyone is welcome to come and observe. Any of our members would be happy to speak with you about the services that we provide as well as volunteering opportunities that are available. We are always looking for volunteers, and participation in direct firefighting activities is not a requirement as there are many ways to help serve the community. Come be a part of our family and experience the traditions and friendships that will last a lifetime.
